Menahem Mendel of Przemyslany
(fl. 18th cent)
   Palestinian Hasidic leader. A pupil of the Baal Shem Tov, he went to Palestine in 1764 and settled in Tiberias. He was an extreme enthusiast among the first generation of Hasidic leaders, and emphasized the importance of prayer.
